**Job Overview**:
With supervision, perform project management, research, analysis, and report preparation on a wide range of projects.
Assignments typically involve evaluating customer and competitor marketplaces through primary and secondary research activities as well as analysis of company performance metrics and capabilities.
**Essential Functions**:
- Assists with the execution of projects associated with the business intelligence strategy;
- Acquire an in-depth knowledge and ability to utilize of secondary market information sources;
- With supervision, design and implement methods of customer and competitor intelligence gathering;
- Identify patterns, trends, inconsistencies, etc. of internal and external market data;
- Develop and maintain relations with external service providers to maximize the cost-effectiveness of the company’s business intelligence activities;
- Comply with the Company’s standard operating procedures and observe timelines;
- Participate in the Company’s appraisal scheme;
- Liaise with other departments and business units in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner.
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years’ experience - Req
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related area; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience - Req
- Solid financial and analytical skills;
- Skill in gathering, interpreting, and reporting complex market data;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to interpret complex financial and/or operational reports;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
- Strong organizational, planning, project management skills;
- Ability to maintain demanding timelines;
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities;
- Ability to work independently and as a team player;
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel;
- Ability to utilize and develop additional systems/tools as needed to supoprt project work;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
