Responsibilities include: As Manager Team Leader - Responsible for design, and successful implementation and achievement of the growth strategy and budget targets for GTS CIB in Brazil. - Responsible for origination with CIB Brazilian clients for the entire suite of GTS offering evolving around Traditional Trade Solution (Documentary LCs, Performance and Trade SBLC, Guarantees and related confirmation, discount ), Supply Chain Management Solutions (Inventory, Receivables, Payables) and Structured Trade Finance (Import Loans, Pre-Export Loans, Borrowing Base Loans,). - Ensures that the BNP Paribas’s brand is well represented in the marketplace, in line with GTS’ objectives for Brazil and the Americas. - Manages directly GTS CIB Trade Managers team in Brazil. - Conducts change management process and ensures buy-in among GTS resources. - Ensures appropriate levels of product expertise in GTS CIB Brazil Sales organization and with Relationship Manager’s teams to sell complete suite of trade products. - Responsible for the recruitment, deployment, individual objectives, appraisal, promotion and career opportunities for his team. Motivates, informs and delegates responsibility to his team to foster a healthy, positive and constructive working environment. - Develop and maintain aggressive calling program / networking. - Develop synergies with the Global BNPP Trade network. - Contribute to some product development initiatives, identification of incremental sales opportunities, preparation of sector/client strategic plans, pitches, research / analysis of market trends within the trade finance industry. - Cross-sell Transaction Banking Solutions products including Domestic Cash Management and Liquidity whenever possible. As Trade Manager in charge of certain key clients: - Take the leadership role in realizing new and incremental GTS revenue generating relationships. - Determine parameters of potential transactions and propose acceptable structure. Negotiate terms with clients and prepare term sheet. Work with legal counsel on documentation. Coordinate with GTS Structuring and Portfolio Management to insure smooth handling of transactions. - Focus on and maintain a close relationship with each customer with which the position interacts with the goal of facilitating an ever deeper and expanding relationship and to address and resolve customer problems or issues should they arise. **QUALIFICATIONS**: - Demonstrated expertise as a Manager / Team leader - Expert understanding of Structured Finance / Trade Finance and Supply Chain products and solutions, intended for clients across multiple industries with international activity. - Expert understanding of [complex] End-to-End Supply Chain Management processes. - Record of accomplishment in identifying and structuring complex transactions across multiple geographies and legal jurisdictions. - Demonstrated expertise preparing and delivering marketing presentations to existing and prospective clients. - Very strong written and interpersonal communications skills in Portuguese and English. - Very strong problem solving skills and creativity that translate into financial structures with an emphasis on mitigating credit and transaction risks under various trade financing structures. - Self-starter, highly sales oriented and entrepreneurial. - Resilient and committed - able to deliver within tight deadlines and under pressure, flexible over working hours and prepared to travel. - Team player. - Bachelor’s degree or foreign education equivalent required in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar field. - Fluent in English and Portuguese. “BNP Paribas is committed to providing a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, gender, age, creed, sex, religion, national origin, disability (physical or mental), marital status, citizenship, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, or any other legally protected status" **PRIMARY LOCATION** **BR-SP-São Paulo** **JOB TYPE** **Convencional** **JOB** **SALES DEVELOPMENT** **SCHEDULE** **Tempo Inteiro** **REFERENCE** **T&T000022** **APPLY** *** - (REF: T&T000022)
