So do we The BR Ops Finance organization is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to deliver analytical solutions that deepen our understanding of our transportation and fullfillment areas. This is an unique opportunity for someone interested in working with big data. You will be joining the BR Ops Fiannce team, whose mission is to enable data-driven decision-making by providing data, reporting, and actionable insights to Ops transportation leadership
You will work closely with the Finance, Transportation, Supply Chain, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Data Engineers across the Amazon Operations international organization.
- Build scalable reporting solutions and self-serve tools that provide data/KPIs to inform business decision making.
- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape our operations in Brazil
- Leverage technical skills to invent on behalf of our business stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Owning the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards, to drive key business decisions.
- Champion best practices in data acquisition, identifying data needs, driving data quality improvement projects, and raising the technical bar for the team.
A day in the life
**In this role you will**:
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and technical abilities, and use data to make recommendations that will drive key business decisions.
- Design automated BI solutions for recurrent reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, has attention to detail, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in a collaborative and international team environment.
- Develop and execute data-driven ideas for innovation, automation, and efficiency.
