Dow has an opportunity as a **Counsel **located in **São Paulo (BRA).** Serves as an Attorney that independently provides legal counsel to clients in practice area on all aspects of legal risk across a wide range of issues, in consultation with internal and external legal experts as appropriate. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines to solve complex problems. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project, with manageable risks and resource requirements, or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Works independently, receives mínimal guidance.

**Responsibilities / Duties**
- Independently provides legal counsel to clients.
- Actively manages external counsel, experts, and other external resources in a manner consistent with Legal Department policies, matching resource levels with importance, affordability and risk.
- Collaborates effectively with Legal team colleagues, non-legal colleagues, and clients.
- Partners with business, functional, and regional clients within Dow and its affiliated companies regarding environmental, health, safety, regulatory and operations issues.
- Provides client legal training and education on a variety of topics.
- Reviews and drafts legal documents.
- Coordinates with paralegals and other Legal staff.
- Proactively communicate with Legal Department management and clients.

**Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Native Portuguese
- Advanced English.
- Spanish desired.
- Be member in the bar association.
