IT Senior Project Manager
The Delivery Leader coordinates/synchronize/steers the delivery of multiple teams and focusing on technical excellence and ensure that the teams build/run things properly.
She/He is the design authority and the “Chief Team leader”
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Ensure synchronization of several teams (Consolidate capacities, plans, budgets)
- Ensure that the right product/service is produced by the teams (by ensuring close collaboration with the business, organizing frequent feedback from the users) and that every team has the same understanding of the value (product/service) to deliver
- Ensure that the right product/service is produce the right way (use work organization that maximize the quality and the speed)
- Solve problems that are raised to his/her level
- Allow teams to take time to make continuous improvement by continuous learning
EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System or any related discipline;
- Professional qualification in Business Administration would be an asset;
- 6 years of experience around IT project delivery;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in relevant field specially into managing a Team;
- Experience in working in an Agile / Lean environment would be an asset;
- Excellent communication skills in both English & Sinhala;
- Customer focus, ability to build customer relationships and organization skills.
