The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects, in line with the contracted security services provided by MSS Security across various public housing locations, ensuring that client and contract needs are met at all times and provide leadership and management to all MSS Security employees on site.

- About the role:

- MSS Security is looking for Area Managers in Security for permanent full-time roles covering Melbourne and surrounding areas. This role will see you working with one of our esteemed clients Homes Victoria to deliver quality services by acting as a client liaison, and managing a team of Security Guards.
- Reporting into Client Services Business Manager, you will be accountable for driving performance and ensuring staff engagement across multiple client sites on a day and/or night basis.
- Your responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to:
- Line management of staff-
- Contractual and procedural compliance-
- Quality Assurance-
- Customer liaison-
- Incident investigation and analysis-
- Management of customer complaints-
- Driving performance-
- Continuous improvement and innovationWhat we are looking for:
- Victorian Security licence and control room licence-
- Cert II or higher in security operations-
- Prior experience of line management of staff in complex environments-
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written-
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience in operational security-
- Ability to resolve conflicts and risk management-
- Willing to travel between sites and head office in Port Melbourne-
- Well-organised and initiative-taking with the ability to prioritise in a face paced environment.-
- Full Australian working rights-
- Be willing to undergo a National Police check.How to apply
