As the Category Sales Lead for Valves & Automation, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building key client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role is essential to the future success of our company in the offshore sector.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Strategy Development**: Create and execute sales strategies specifically tailored to valves and automation within the maritime and offshore industries.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients to ensure outstanding service and customer satisfaction.
- **Business Development**: Identify opportunities for new suppliers with established Brazilian end-customers and drive business growth.
- **Sales Target Achievement**: Set, meet, and exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the company’s growth and success.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Administration, International Relations, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in the maritime and offshore industry, with experience in sales, supply chain, or technical areas.
- **Technical Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of technical valves and automation for offshore platforms.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant system tools.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- **Location**: Based in Rio de Janeiro or willing to relocate.
**Key Attributes**:
- **Communication & Negotiation**: Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
- **Results-Oriented**: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong focus on exceeding sales targets.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Experience working with OIC, platform owners, shipowners, and shipyards is advantageous.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems, international logistics, import/export, and hosting exhibitions/events is a plus.
- **Additional Skills**: Knowledge of procurement platforms like Petronect, SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Shipserv is an advantage.
