The Program Management & Capabilities Director is accountable for Americas Supply region’s project portfolio management, planning and systems capabilities, learning and development, sustainability, communications and change management, and providing regional support to the Operations RVP. The preference of location is Wilmington or Gaithersburg but will consider other AZ locations.
**What you will do**:
- Leading a project management team and their portfolio of regional Operations projects, providing direction, support and prioritization of work.
- Managing a systems integrator team that focuses on supporting and improving the regional capabilities in planning and use of SAP and planning systems at the supply sites and supporting global programs.
- Being responsible for the uplift of regional Learning & Development, providing direction, support and prioritization of work.
- Supporting our regional Sustainability program, its roadmap development and portfolio of work.
- Facilitating and driving regional Operations strategy development and deployment, along with other key leadership team initiatives (e.g. Business Review Meetings, regional leadership team meetings, regional and site strategies, etc.). Provides oversight and modifications to the regional strategy, annual objective setting, and scorecard development and performance.
- Leading regional communications (e.g. town halls, quarterly business updates, etc.) and steering change management for key programs and initiatives.
- Acting as chief of staff for RVP for the Americas region.
- Delivering effective and consistent change management, project management and learning management processes to support the realization of capability improvement deliverables and benefits and to create improved, sustainable business performance.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of combined business experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in leading projects and/or programs.
- Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, technical and regulatory environments
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Advanced degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Expertise in communications and change management.
- Expertise in learning and development.
- Knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations.
