Dow is looking for a Product Stewardship Customer Support Specialist to handle North America and Latin America customers’ inquiries for Dow Consumer Solutions Business in the Product Stewardship function. The person would be based in the following location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Dow Consumer Solutions combines complementary products, technologies, and solutions to enable faster growth in many key end-use markets, including home care, personal care, food, automotive, electronics and construction. We are focused on accelerating innovation of new hybrid molecular solutions that incorporate both silicone and organic chemistries.
We work closely with our customers to understand and identify consumer needs in our diverse range of markets. Our goal is to help our customers achieve differentiation through innovative materials and value-added products.
Core Responsibilities:
- As part of a global team, manages business-specific EH&S customer inquiries within timelines given in Customer Experience (Cx) framework- Develop and use appropriate documentation to answer requests. Work with members for the extended EH&S organization in a defined escalation process.- First point of contact for the regional commercial and TS&D organizations for EH&S inquiries.- Representing Dow and Dow's EH&S function in direct contact with customers- Develop a basic knowledge of new and changing product EH&S regulations, including country-specific regulations.- Develop enough product knowledge to assess products against regulations.- Work with the process leader or manager and other stakeholders (product stewards) on process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or other Science degree. Science degrees are highly preferred, others are considered- Practical experience in the industry- Strong customer focus- Good Communication Skills (English + Portuguese)
Preferred Qualification- Spanish language- Previous experience working with chemical products assessment- SAP, MS-Office knowledge
