**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:

- Responsible to lead Event Management area focusing on Crop Science, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health, and Corporate Business.
- People oriented to attract, retain, mentors, and develops staff and promotes an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
- Responsible for supporting Event Business Partners strategies implementation, strong supplier management to develop long term relationship with preferred suppliers, guarantee the transfer knowledge of Bayer policies and event execution.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver outstanding external and internal events operation to strengthen the Bayer brand from initial brief through to event delivery by partnering with Bayer Brazil Key stakeholders, understanding their marketing plans and events portfolio.
- The Brazil EDM - Event & Disclosure Management - team is the contact for all Event Owners at local business units and local functions. Furthermore, the EDM Brazil collaborates with EDM International (e.g., regarding regionally and globally organized events with country participation) and Procurement and/or third parties.
- The jobholder coordinates local activities, thereby ensuring that mergers, acquisitions & divestment processes comply with local and project requirements.
- Improves customer experience, creates engaged customers to facilitate organic growth.
- Ensures an established continued improvement process to drive innovation and standardization at the same time, backed-up by a strong culture of process excellence and with the right recommendation regarding cost/benefit for events.
- Centralize Bayer strategic meetings with a strong meeting policy, providing high quality event solutions and delivering a consistent execution.
- Manage event & budget activities with the team to ensure the adherence to the proposed briefing
- Develop and monitor suppliers KPIs and act when necessary to require an action plan
- Support audit processes and compliance reporting data quality (e.g., resulting from CRYSTAL process).
- Lead with LATAM Head the partnering with Procurement to define regional and local Event supplier roster and develop RFPs, following the company's policies and guidelines.
- Keeps ahead of industry’s developments and applies best practices to areas of improvement.
- Fosters important Bayer competencies with focus on Collaboration, Trust, Innovation, Customer Centricity and Continuous Improvement
- The position delivers best in class services and ensures the local execution of end-to-end processes which are globally standardized and optimally aligned to local business requirements
- Collaborate with Event Business Partners, understanding business strategic objectives to assist and support them in developing and delivering outstanding events.
- Monitor success and effectiveness of events for reporting back to the relevant Division/Business Unit.
- Guarantee meeting owners’ satisfaction, permanent evolution of productivity in an environment of costumer focuses and consultancy approach to the business.

Mandatory:

- University degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant university degree equivalent.
- Proven experience in motivating and influencing others in a diverse, multi-cultural, cross
- functional organization.
- Proven experience in corporate event management at a mid-side country or country group.
- Solid foundation in the understanding of the business and its needs. Preferably having worked in the business to recognize the stakeholder expectations. (Agrobusiness and Pharma).
