**Job Summary**:
Work with business and technical teams to provide technical support and development expertise for Data Warehouse technologies (SAP Native HANA 2.0, Microsoft SQL, Snowflake & cloud environments) in Fuels Value Chain - Data & Analytics portfolio
**Primary Job Functions**:
- Develop or enhance data models, data integration and ETL activities.
- Support and break fix of existing data warehouse products
- Support maintenance activities such as support pack and enhancement packs, adding of aggregates, partitioning of data objects etc.
- Execute demos, projects, proof of concepts in development or technical design
- Collaborate with project teams, business customers and other support partners in solution ideation, requirements gathering and product delivery
- Ensure solution compliance to solution design, best practices, technical architecture, design standards, technology roadmaps and business requirements
- Support adoption / promotion of new products delivered
- Support and Mentor less experienced team members
- Explore and develop skills in new technologies according to technology roadmap
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in Agile development and working on an Agile team
- Strong knowledge of financial processes
- Willing to travel internationally and accommodate occasional work schedule flexibility
- Familiarity with SAP ECC modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.) and business process (OtC, PtP, SC, Financials, PtA, etc.)
- Applied Knowledge of Business Intelligence technologies (HANA 2.0, BOBI, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, MSBI, BODS, BO IS, ABAP, SDA, SDI, SLT and SQL)
- Understand emerging technologies
- English Language Fluency - Verbal and Written
- Self-starter and independent worker
- Experience in Applications support

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Experience in full cycle delivery of data warehouse projects

1. What is the difference between table function and stored procedure? Explain in which scenario you will use table function and which scenario you use store procedure?
A1: Table function is a read-only type of procedure that returns a result set and can be queried via SELECT statement;
A2: Procedures on the other hand allow output parameters and write operations;
A3: Table function in scenarios where the result requires logic that is better implemented via code than in a graphical view (e.g. recursive query).
A4: Procedure in scenarios where data needs to be written to tables (e.g. materialization)
2. Referential join vs inner join and left join - In which scenario referential join will work as inner join and in which scenario it work as left join
A1: When referential integrity is maintained
A2: When none of the columns from the table on the right side are requested (column not in result set nor as a filter)
3. Can you explain how join cardinality improve query performance?
A: if properly set, it drives better execution plans
