We are seeking a Head of Art to join our awesome Art Department as a leader and mentor. Being a part of Kokku means being able to work with comittment to excelence. Department Art Location Recife, PE - Brasil ***The benefits about joining Kokku**: - Competitive financial reward; - Health Insurance; - A transparent and inclusion-oriented culture; - Relocation bonus, - Meal ticket; - Transport benefits and more **As a Head of Art you will**: - Mentoring and training our Art Managers/Art Producers/QA&QC; - Be responsible for the strategic growth of the art department, aligned with the company’s strategic planning; - Lead R&D initiatives to keep Kokku up to date on any technology/software/trend with our Central Development team; - Work closely with the recruiting team to find the best people; - Supervise, train, mentor, motivate and support our artists; - Develop custom pipelines for projects with specific creative and technology needs in collaboration with the engineering department; - Work closely with Heads of other departments to ensure the right professionals are part of the right projects; - Be responsible for the RFP process (delegate, track and review) with the most appropriate Art Managers; - Be an example of reliability, responsibility and professionalism in all working relationships. **We expect you to have***: - Excellent attention to detail and leadership fundamentals; - Proven experience with a variety of game genres; - Robust experience with different specialties and art styles; - Up-to-date knowledge of game art and understanding of the industry; - Proven experience in design, media and/or related entertainment industry and art direction/project leadership; - Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
