Business Project Manager

We’re looking for people who think big, act fearlessly and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.We’re looking for a relentless, resourceful, and hands-on professional, able to translate continuously evolving business objectives into actionable projects and tasks, implementing the practice of continuous improvement through the execution of projects that accelerate business process improvements. **Responsibilities**: As a Business Project Manager, you will be responsible for transforming business objectives and process improvement opportunities into well-defined scopes of work. You will address the business challenges by outlining the tasks to be done, responsibilities, and schedules, and following up on the ongoing project deliveries under your management purview. You will report in a structured manner the projects’ status to stakeholders and internal clients guaranteeing that project outcomes are tied to business results and outcomes as well as other routines inherent to project management daily activities. The successful Business Project Manager will have managed different types of projects, mostly related to business objectives, which will include: (i) Strategic and/or Corporate Projects, focused on achieving a high-level business strategy; (ii) Operational Projects, focused on improving specific processes of the business operations (such as Sales, Marketing, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Care); (iii) Recurring Projects, focused on continuous product releases and/or improvements. You will be close to the overall business strategy, and closer to the business operations, in a mission to guarantee that all the efforts being invested in the projects are delivering the highest value to the business. Other responsibilities include: - Structure the governance model for managing the business projects in the organization. - Influence and engage peers and stakeholders to generate high-value outcomes for the organization. - Create tracking methods to measure the business returns over the efforts deployed in each project. - Support business operations teams in accurately outlining the projects’ business requirements. - Predict the capacity of the resource needed to implement projects and/or tasks. - Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. - Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution. - Align everyone around the objectives and goals of the project and ensure the "why" is known. - Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. - Ensure end-to-end process standardization and improvement, reviewing, documenting and where possible aligning best practices locally, regionally, and globally. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of project management experience in the B2C sector of Telecom and/or retail-related industries. - Analytical and solution-focused tendencies - Proven ability to solve problems creatively. - Capable of performing with excellence in a start-up environment with mínimal oversight; must thrive in an ambiguous environment. - Consistently demonstrates a growth mindset. - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. - Seasoned in the use of project management tools. - Fluent in Portuguese and advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal). - Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. - This will be a hybrid role; 3 days in the Sao Paulo office, and 2 days in your personal home office. **Preferences** - Lean Six Sigma Certification - Scrum Master or Scrum Certification **#LI-HYBRID** **Additional Requirements and Information**: - Minimum Education- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience- Years of Experience- 5-8 years- Travel- Up to 25%- Citizenship- Brazilian Citizenship required- Clearance- None- Worker Classification- Employee
