The middle Indirect Tax analyst must assist the Tax Manager to guarantee the Indirect Tax compliance on MEB. This professional should: 1. Perform all indirect tax routines: Tax calculation, Tax returns, and other tax obligations (related to ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/COFINS, ISS, WHT and others); 2. Create controls and document standard procedures; 3. Give support and orientation to other departments or involved parties related to taxes in scope.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Perform all Indirect tax routines: Tax calculation, Tax returns, and other obligations (related to ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/COFINS, ISS, WHT and others)
- Create controls to be used by the tax department
- Support on Government tax audits, tracking the tax outsourcing deliveries related.
- Renew and control Tax Debts Certificates
- Give tax support and orientation to other departments, vendors and suppliers.
- Assist the Tax Manager to prepare tax reports and create/review standard procedures in the department.
**Position Requirements**:
- +5 years of relevant experience in Brazilian Tax Compliance regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- SAP and Synchro knowledge is preferred.
- Good English written and spoken is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Hands-on and teamwork-oriented.
