Business Development Manager Turbo Latam

As part of the Latin America based Turbomachinery Group, support regional sales teams with identifying sales leads, pitch Turbo products/services to new/existing clients, maintain a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders and provide Turbo business strategy support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify Turbo product related opportunities in assigned geographical area based on Customer visits.
- Maintain opportunities database in assigned geographical area
- Drive business development activities and initiatives of Turbo products to increase JC’s market share.
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
- Support regional opportunities and product developments by liaising with PLM and Engineering and communicate new product developments to prospective clients
- Support regional Marketing team with Turbo related Marketing initiatives.
- Improve business/customer relationships by supporting the development of partnerships, frame agreements, long term development and growth.
- Provide Techno commercial direction for KAM’s to help penetrate new markets/customers, e.g. cross sell strategies and sales tools across turbo product lines.
- Support in development of the local teams in turbo business and assosited with it technical issues.
- Liaising with PLM, collect/monitor competitor intelligence and activities, focusing on strengths, weaknesses and the threat to JC & the opportunities for JC.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to Management and provide management with regular feedback

The Individual
- **Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.**:
- **Experience of turbomachinery preferred and some knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and awareness of turbomachinery and compressor OEMs would be useful.**:
- **Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish (Conversational skills **in the three of them)**:
- Commercial skills associated with understanding a commercial environment where there is a need to maximize revenue and margin whilst maintaining growth, market share and future returns for the business.
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a professional standard both verbally and in writing at different levels of the business.
- **Customer focused with excellent stakeholder management skills.**:
- **Experience in a similar role and experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment**:
- Self-motivated to achieve results with mínimal direct supervision with the ability to work alone or as part of the larger team.
- Strong analytical & reporting skills as will be required to generate reports and analyze data.
- Confident and able to deal with very challenging situations in a calm and credible manner.
- Adaptable, flexible and appreciative of an array of cultures and customs.
- **Team player and willingness to travel up to a maximum 50% of time if needed.**:
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office suite.
