**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**:
The Proposal Consultant is a commercial/technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology, products, services, and solutions within their area(s) of expertise, capable of articulating value, estimations, and positioning of benefits of portfolio to customers. They deliver and manage commercial offer, presales support, costing, and approvals. They are responsible for all bid offer activities for a specific range of products, services and/or solutions within a defined geography. They lead standardization efforts of proposals, tools and processes for designated product, service, or solution. Demonstrate the ability to expand the scope of services requested by incorporating the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation offerings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare technical and commercial quotations to meet the needs of the customer but also be compliant with our internal policies, financial goals, and expectations.
- Work to pre-defined SLAs.
- Makes full use of global/regional/local estimating tools and global resources.
- Share insights with local and regional team.
- Provide regular feedback on activity status to the assigned Sales Team, Business Unit Leadership and Proposal Manager.
- Comply with the Quality Management System.
- Demonstrate the ability to expand the scope of offerings requested by incorporating the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation.
- Understand business models, organization, and go to market strategy, leverage where appropriate.
- Familiarity with outcome-based selling.

**Key Performance Metrics**:

- Support key business growth objectives (Frontlog generation, order & sales targets).
- Ensure all proposals are compliant with internal approval processes and policies, Customer’s expectations, and quality standards.
- Provide accurate and professional proposals, maintaining On-time / Win Rate / Hit Rate.
- Pro-actively close identified skill gap, and continually develop technical capability, while staying abreast of products and portfolio (local/regional affinity teams).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering / Electrical / Electronic / Automation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging environment with both internal and external customers.
- Good communications skills.
- Advanced English.
- Project Management, field service, project development or customer support experience is a plus.
- Solid knowledge about proposal process.
