**Key tasks and responsibilities**
- Participate hands-on in project activity as well as actively develop geologic and static modeling objectives as part of field development and evaluation projects.
- Propose technical solutions, enhance project execution efficiency, and ensure effective team participation.
- Perform quality control, monitoring, and interpretation of geological workflows to ensure best practices.
- Perform seismic interpretation and elaborate geological conceptual models
- Perform basic petrophysics
- Integrate field data from seismic to well data and other sources and build and maintain databases;
- Create and present maps, geological sections, and reports;
- Represent BWO with ANP and other governmental agencies w.r.t geological issues;
- Develop 3D static models on a geological basis including structure, rock characteristics, and the likely distribution of oil/gas/mineral-bearing strata.
- Independently develop resource volume assessment
- Collaborate with subsurface, operational, and drilling engineers to optimize well placement, geo-steering, and data acquisition on the basis of the geo-models developed;
- Perform detailed geological risk analysis of proposed well targets;
- Plan the location and trajectory of development wells and put well proposals together in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
- Create new opportunities to access remaining reserves.
- Implement new technologies in geological modeling.
- Advise engineers and senior management on the subsurface uncertainty related to geological input data and help mitigate risk and capital exposure during development, appraisal, or exploration projects.
- Be able to represent at JV meetings, and relevant government ministries.

**Other Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provides support to other areas of department, as needed.
- Complies with all regulatory, environmental and safety rules and stand
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Performs other functions/duties as required.

**Requirements**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in geology.

**Experience**
- Ideally 8-15 years of relevant experience in geology and development projects in operator environments

**Interpersonal skills**
- Team player and collaborative
- Strong communication skills and the ability to ask relevant questions and provide thorough explanations
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary/multinational environment

**Knowledge**
- Understand the various disciplines in development projects and their interaction
- Understanding and knowledge of operational aspects of the offshore oil & gas industry
- Working knowledge of the oil & gas market within the Region (including other Global Regions)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
