**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales role.
- Experience with sales management in sales coaching, mentoring, team leadership, and delivering on business goals.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese or Spanish fluently.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience working within the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS) market.
- Experience working with Digital Natives and Startups.
- Experience working closely with marketing/sales development and partners.
- Ability to develop sales individuals, with effective leadership capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying goals.

- As a Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Sales Executives to work towards sales goals, while providing a great customer experience. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders locally and globally across, Sales Development, Marketing, Partner, Program Management, Product, and other support teams to optimize the customer experience and drive strong business growth in the SMB segment. You'll also advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and continue to build on the collaborative culture of SMB.

**Responsibilities**:

- Continue to develop and grow a Google Cloud Platform focused SMB New Business Sales team.
- Optimize the team for scale and growth by acquiring new customers and increasing business from existing Google Cloud Platform customers.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to grow the business and deliver sales goals (e.g., Marketing, Sales Development and Partner teams).
- Test and iterate on new approaches to grow business in this segment, working closely with partner teams and vendors, as well as working on programmatic initiatives to increase growth.
- Develop and implement best practices, ensuring the team is up-to-date with the newest trends and improve team skills through development and training.
