**Overview**:
The HR Manager will report to the Director of HR & Operations, Americas region, partner closely with HR center of excellence teams in the US and in headquarters, and serve as a critical role in supporting the company growth in LATAM region.
**Responsibilities**
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the human resource strategy in supporting the company growth in Brazil, Mexico and other South American countries.
- Develop and implement HR policies to satisfy compliance requirements and work environments consistent with Tencent's core values
- Develop and implement HR processes that shape the employee lifecycle and are efficient, scalable and compliant with all regulatory requirements
- Manage the immigration program, develop policies and procedures for a successful execution of our immigration operations in Brazil, Mexico and other South American countries, partner with immigration lawyers to deliver timely and effective immigration services
- Manage vendor relationships and explore external vendor resources to enhance HR services and employee experience
- Provides support and guidance to management and employees when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources, talent management, and employment law in Brazil, Mexico and other South American countries
- Partner with regional HR COE functions in executing HR programs in Brazil, Mexico and other South American countries, such as training, compensation, benefits, performance management, cultural and D&I initiatives
- Partner with HRBP teams in providing sound HR services to different business groups
- Travel to various offices in Brazil, Mexico and other South American countries to provide onsite HR support as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
- 8+ years' experience in human resources, in particular immigration and HR compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the highest standards of excellence
- A process-driven, background/systems-thinking mindset
- SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR or equivalent credential highly preferred
