The Account Technology Strategist is at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts for our enterprise customers. The ATS works exclusively to support the business of customers, map business scenarios to the technical foundation, understand and translate the customer priorities and desired outcomes, and orchestrate resources in the customer’s digital journey. ATS’s technical acumen enables customers to do business in new disruptive ways. ATS drives the adoption of Microsoft Azure Cloud, Modern Workplace solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. ATS is the owner of the IT decision maker relationship, and acts as a virtual CTO.
**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will:
- Expand Enterprise customer relationships, by being the customer’s technology strategy trusted advisor, to drive larger impact and targeted business growth and drive the jointly agreed customer multi-year Digital Transformation business strategy, delivering agreed outcomes
- Be the industry and technology expert that maps Enterprise scenarios to the Digital Transformation technical vision, orchestrates and manages technical resources from Microsoft, partners and a customer and delivers the new technical architecture to enable brand new outcomes of the customer
- Present and demonstrate key end-user solutions/capabilities and technical architectures aligned to a customer maturity framework/path in Modern Workplace (Windows and Teams), Intelligent Cloud (Azure) and Business Applications (D365 and Power Platform).
- Disrupt the mindset of customers and sales teams by bringing innovative ideas that showcase case for change and Microsoft's unique value proposition for Enterprises.
- Remain focused on customer facing time by running a healthy and predictable business that delivers on a jointly agreed customer Digital Transformation strategy maintaining rigorous sales process compliance
- Continuously nurture and expand your technical, sales, industry, technology and competitive knowledge and capabilities
- Provide insight and feedback from customers and partners to the Microsoft Worldwide Industry Team to help learning and improvement in industry solutions and digital transformation offerings
**Qualifications**:
We are looking for you to demonstrate deep expertise in our customer’s business, knowledge of the markets in which customer operates, and Microsoft’s capability to help the customer drive their digital transformation. The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid understanding of both business and technology strategy, change management, and a principled approach to broad digital transformation challenges and opportunities. You may also share a common set of characteristics, such as strong leadership and people skills, and bring the experience that drives innovation and customer value.
- Strong technical acumen, with 8-10 years of technology-related experience, that includes positioning technical solutions to business and technical decision makers
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and master new concepts and technologies to be able to impact their adoption and usage
- Possess executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with education business and technical decision makers articulating and demonstrating technical propositions on how education institutions can digitally transform teaching and learning/student outcomes with Microsoft solutions both in small groups and large audiences
- Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-relevant solutions, with a technical understanding of competitive technologies to address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments
- Experience in leading and driving technical solutions, orchestrating virtual selling teams where necessary, leveraging repeatable offerings that maximize revenue/market share/consumption opportunities and increase customer satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
You will be focused on the following priorities:
- Own, manage and develop the technical business relationships with the technology influencers/decision makers of the customers
- Lead the translation of the customer’s desired business outcomes into technical architecture
- Influence & orchestrate the technical delivery of all technical resources involved in delivering the customers’ desired outcome
