- HSE & Quality: Ensure TEPBR compliance to the legislative and internal requirements relating to Health, Safety and Environment and that all R&D activities conducted in Brazil are carried out with fully acceptable level of HSE. Ensure that the requirements of the E&P Referential (Charters, Company Rules and Specifications) and TEPBR's Company Management System CMS are complied with for all relevant disciplines.
- Coordinate and steer R&D Projects related to the technology selected by OneTech R&D Upstream. For this purpose coordinate the different actors: selected Brazilian institution and companies, seismic contractors in Brazil, Brazilian universities and potential other companies partners.
- Identify, propose, and develop R&D collaborations & projects with universities, laboratories, R&D institutes, and suppliers addressing TotalEnergies’s strategy.
- Research & develop possible innovative ideas and solutions to meet future needs of TotalEnergies business, in selected technologies’ areas.
- Monitor technology development by competition, vendors and academia; keep R&D informed on its impact.
- Issue timely R&D reports, meetings & conferences’ synthesis, work proposals and plans.
- Follow-up / Technology transfer of projects coordinated by Brazil Research Center.
- Manage operated projects’ completion on-time, within the allocated budget, ensuring an effective communication of the results.
- Ensure an effective interaction with TotalEnergies R&D network, EXPLO and within the Brazilian Affiliate.
- Work in close relationship with SIMA R&D Program in order to capitalize what has been done in seismic acquisition JIPs to expand now in Brazil project, to follow-up last development in processing and imaging. Participate to regular meeting with the SIMA program (Progress meeting, CVT, COPIL, technical review..)

**Context and environment**
- The R&D is strategic for TotalEnergies growth.
- This position is necessary to ensure: (1) close collaboration with Petrobras teams and other local partners, and (2) a proper management and transfer of data from each other, in respect of confidentiality.
- This position shall ensure the progress of R&D Projects related to Geophysics and manage the associated financial and human resources.
- Make the good use of the 1% obligation with projects where applicable.
- PhD preferably, or MSc degree in geophysics or related disciplines.
- Experience in the O&G industry.
- Experience on R&D projects is envisaged.
- Proven experience on Project Management.
- Excellent technical analysis, interpersonal, oral and written communication, organization and presentation skills.
- Portuguese language is mandatory and English language skills are essential.French is a plus.
