For 135+ years The Coca-Cola Company has grown to become the most recognizable brand in the world. In 2020 we launched the Flavored Alcohol Beverage brand Topo Chico Hard Seltzer in Latin America. Due to the category growth, we are expanding our product innovation and looking for pioneers that know how to expand their thinking and bring new ideas to life. In this role you will be responsible for shaping the Consumer Promotions and Content strategies, plans, and execution for the FAB category, partnering cross functionally across the region, and with Coca-Cola bottling partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager Commercial Execution Excellence Alcohol Category to act as an intrapreneur to help build a “start-up” in Latin America with the resources and backing of The Coca-Cola Company.
**Flexible Location**: Mexico City, México, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Sao Paolo, Brazil, Bogotá, Colombia, Buenos Aires, Argentina, San Jose, Costa Rica, or Lima, Perú.
**Notes**: No relocation package will be considered for this role.
**What You’ll Do For Us**
- Responsible for developing LATAM strategies for all channels on and off-premise and incorporating category(ies) vision, identifying key opportunities alongside LATAM channels and main subchannels to guarantee channel strategy implementation, delivering revenues, transactions, and volume objectives. (Responsible for the connection of category and channels (with occasion platforms approach).
- Define value-added programs execution guidelines with the customer and commercial leadership areas to win in the market at the Point of sale (POS), based on Coca-Cola portfolio and Channel needs.
- Track channel main indicators, review business performance, and design impactful actions to improve when results are below targets. Continuously share information, insights, and knowledge with KO System, developing platforms to materialize those insights into actions.
Be the lens of the Channel in the categories assigned and represent Customer and commercial Leadership (C&CL) functions in the category extended team. (Executional reality check in Category Extended Team).
- Leads the improvement of the Initial commercial construct (based on the ABP + Channel driven Picture of Success
- To succeed, the role requires to conduct analyses to fully understand shopper and customer insights to anticipate consumer and shopper trends and changes, as well as track channel performance to quickly react to competitor’s movement.
- The role is also responsible to provide execution guidelines and influence the execution of the channel strategy through the Operation Unit, in order to gain relevance at the store level, helping achieve Objectives.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or strategic areas
Proven abilities of Analytical Thinking, Leadership, Initiative, Teamwork, Work under Pressure, Adaptability, Influencer.
- Languages: English and Spanish (required). Portuguese (Nice to have)
- Experience with Channel Strategy, Commercial Strategy, Shopper Marketing
- Experience in Value to Market (VTM) and Route to Market (RTM) desirable
