Team Overview:
Role Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on a broad range of employment and labor law matters, including individual and collective labor relations.
- Partner with HR and leadership teams to ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Support negotiations with unions and manage relationships with employee representatives.
- Assess and mitigate legal risks related to employment practices and employee policies.
- Monitor external law firms.
- Monitor legal developments in labor law and implement best practices and proactive compliance strategies.
- Train and educate internal stakeholders on employment law updates and employee relations topics.
- Contribute to building a fair, inclusive, and legally compliant work environment that supports business success and employee satisfaction.

Role Qualifications:

- Law degree from an accredited university and active bar membership (OAB).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in labor and employment law, preferably in both law firm and in-house environments.
- Strong understanding of Brazilian labor legislation, case law and litigation.
- Experience managing complex employee relations issues and labor litigation.
- Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risks with business needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across functions.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a matrixed, multicultural organization.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a passion for people, ethics, and building a positive workplace culture.
