This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.
The Sr. Associate II, Vision Care General Field Sales & Account Management (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for achieving area sales goals by managing resources, building customer relationships, and handling administrative tasks. You will be expected to call on customers, implement sales tactics, and align with brand strategies. Specifics include:
- Achieve assigned sales goals by effectively managing time and routing, and calling on all customers within a designated area
- Implement sales and promotional tactics aligned with brand and marketing strategies, including daily brand tactics and RTDs, in line with personal and district objectives and the POA grid
- Maintain and improve selling skills and product knowledge with the support of the DSM and company trainer
- Establish strong and effective business relationships with customers and key decision makers to ensure excellent customer satisfaction both internally and externally
- Regularly report on competitive activities and commercial strategies
- Adhere to company SOPs, vigilance reporting, code of conduct, and local regulations in daily operations, ensuring compliance with all company guidelines
- Manage all aspects of congresses and events, including planning, administration, innovation, negotiation with suppliers, people management, and coordination, while supporting logistics and maintaining efficient use of resources
- Cooperate closely with the sourcing team on vendor evaluation and manage the quality of all logistics arrangements
- Keep up with administration tasks and support sales executions, sales forecasts, and marketing activities
- Complete any other business tasks assigned by a supervisor
Skills & Experiences:
- A proven high performing sales individual with experience of territory management as a must.-
- Experience of working in a very fast paced organisation- Used to KPI management and a desire to be F2F 95% of the time in front of the customer - as this role has no Interstate or regional travel the expectation is to be in front of the customer as much as possible- Experience using a CRM system to record calls in live time / Calendar management for appointments- Collaboration with the team is essential so excellent communication / self-driven- Ability to establish new relationships easily & quickly - plenty of examples of this and how- Super high energy
