Decarbonization Hydrogen Senior Consultant

Local Unit & Position Description:
The role may require international travel.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading green hydrogen pre-feasibility assessments and market entry studies
- Designing decarbonization strategies and roadmaps, including policy, procedures and monitoring
- Building new business models in emerging markets, to enable local energy transition frameworks
- Managing relationships with key external and internal clients
- Supporting team engagement through attending related conferences and focus groups

Position Qualifications:
Qualified consultants will have:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business or finance from an accredited university
- Experience in hydrogen and the wider decarbonatization arena e.g. CCS, renewables
- Consulting background is a must
- Strategic mindset coupled with understanding of policy/regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of the energy - oil & gas nexus
- Experience with World Bank, international donors or multilaterals
- Technical acumen and analytical mindset
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Proactive and forthcoming attitude
- Fluency in Portuguese and English. The team is based in Europe and the communication will be always in English; Spanish would be a plus.
