**About the Role**
As a Head of Internal Audit Brazil and a member of the Americas Chapter, your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to be the responsible of internal audit in Brazil, representing the internal audit function in the local Audit Committees, perform and coordinate SUSEP regulatory audits, as well as driving and participating in a wide range of business and functional audit activities in Brazil and in Regional/Global level. You will be constantly challenged to learn new areas of Swiss Re, to assess the effectiveness of the relevant processes and controls, and to come up with workable solutions to any problems you may identify. For you, this role will be an opportunity to deal with themes that have organizational impact at the most senior level, driving the risk culture of Swiss Re. You will be an effective communicator in Portuguese and English, landing key and difficult messages with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
**Specific local responsibilities will include**:
- Acting as the face of GIA (Group Internal Audit) in Brazil, responsible for the relationship with SUSEP, perform SUSEP regulatory audits and activities.
- Coordinating of the meetings of the Local Audit Committees (Corporate Solutions Brazil and Reinsurance Brazil).
**Americas Chapter/Global GIA responsibilities**
- Owning audit tasks delivery within an agile audit team; your key tasks are to assess business processes and controls in scope of an audit, and to provide quality audit issues, clear audit reports, and compelling business insights to Senior Management and stakeholders; creating awareness around scrum value delivery.
- Supporting annual FRR testing within the region.
- Participating in local, regional and global audits, positively impacting the other GIA Chapters and using your areas of expertise to contribute effectively to GIA's audit plan.
- Coordinating with the IT audit team to learn approaches for business auditors to add value in IT areas supporting the business such as IT security, access management, third party oversight and cloud computing.
- Owning business relationships and gather perspectives and updates from the business as inputs to our risk assessments and audit planning activities.
- Supporting the Audit Director / Chapter leads / Deputies in performing ongoing risk assessments to keep Gameboard+ updated for the region and contributing risk ideas for possible audit ideas.
- Participating in GIA's strategic initiatives and projects as opportunities arise.

Group Internal Audit provide independent and objective assurance that assists the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the organization. We perform audit activities designed to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group's internal control systems, and to add value through improving the Group's operations.

**About You**
**Education and experience**:
- 8 plus years of work experience in an assurance function or a similar qualified function within Insurance/Reinsurance industry.
- Fluent in English and comfortable communicating verbally and in writing
