Company Description

We deliver our unique expertise in geoscience technology and project management through our three complementary business activities: Equipment, Acquisition and GGR (Geology, Geophysics & Reservoir).

**Job Description**:
This role will require you to work with a small team of highly-qualified researchers and software engineers to gather requirements, perform analysis, scope, plan, design, code, implement automated unit testing and deploy scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant modules and libraries. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of technical concepts required for software engineering and deployment and should be able to navigate and quickly understand complex code and systems. The position demands excellent analytical and problem solving skills and applicants must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. You should be a person with great technical passion, terrific problem-solving skills, drive for results and ability to work independently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research, develop, and optimize new or existent software and features for company services.
- Innovate and keep up to date with new global technologies.
- Write code and test cases and provide support for users and feature development.
- Work closely with partner teams and users to build and maintain cohesive product.
- Have passion for scientific research and secure, reliable, maintainable code

**Qualifications**:
Skills/ Experience:

- Scientific background and experience with academic research.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL or equivalent), and strong design, implementation, and debugging skills.
- Experience with coding for distributed systems (MPI or equivalent).
- Self-motivated and passionate for research, coding, and innovation.
- Good proficiency in English.Typical Background:

- BSc/MSc in computer science, or equivalent in related technical experience
