**The DePuy Synthes Business Unit Director **will be responsible for:
DePuy Synthes P&L, developing and executing marketing and commercial strategies to grow the business in the short and long term in Brazil. The leader has direct responsibility over the marketing and sales organization for the entire country.
- Lead the strategic development, alignment and execution of marketing strategies to achieve franchise goals in the country.
- Responsible for the Franchise go to market model in Brazil, channel strategy, organization model design and talent development.
- Direct responsibility for developing, executing and tracking strategies to deliver on the franchise.
- Builds strong, influential relationships with key external stakeholders in Brazil, including key opinion leaders, health-care executives and potentially key local government officials
- Responsible for strong sales processes and implements SFE initiatives such as CRM following accurate targeting and segmentation
- Builds positive relationships and collaborates with critical internal and external stakeholders, including COE’s, functions, local organization, regional organization, etc.
- Develops deep customer and competitor insights and applies these insights to shape highly effective commercial models and to influence cluster, regional and global BU strategies.
- Brings to bear environmental trends and opportunities to drive cost‐effective, profitable growth.
- Ensures Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization
- Ensure an inclusive work environment
- Provides input to the Regional Franchise Leadership team on the Brazilian market and customer needs and works in collaboration with peers from other clusters to develop and deliver overall Latin America business strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- 10 or more years of leadership experience in a combination of Sales and Marketing Management
- Skilled P&L management with strong financial and business acumen
- Outstanding customer focus and relationship building skills; experienced in developing effective relationships across a diverse group of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders at the highest levels, in both public and private domains.
- Demonstrated success of collaboration and work with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, navigating a matrix organization with challenging market environments.
- Enterprise mindset, with ability to influence and collaborate a cross cluster or franchise, regional and globally
- Experience in healthcare industry, medical device/ Orthopedics markets preferred
- Strong organizational leadership, with the ability to encourage and mobilize large organizations.
- Talent development approach with a track record of developing a diverse pipeline of successful leaders, as well as the overall strength and experience of a sales and marketing organization.
- Post-Graduate/MBA Preferred
- Proficiency in English is required
