**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Preparing national, local, and other miscellaneous direct tax returns including Excise, Business License, and other municipal returns
- Providing planning support as needed to the Brazil Planning Manager
- Assisting with maintaining and enhancing local tax processes
- Assisting with maintaining tax calendar and tracking of tax inquiries
- Assisting with the national and local tax audits and inquiries
- Providing support for other corporate tax projects and processes as needed
- Performing ongoing review and research of tax laws, court decisions, and administrative pronouncements to ensure the company's compliance and finding opportunities for tax savings
- Assisting with special projects to implement tax strategies and/or documents and supporting the current tax position
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned and ad hoc

**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a preference in finance, accounting, tax or any related business is required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/accounting or another related business is required
- Strong financial analytical abilities (data, fact patterns, external tax/legal frameworks) and accounting is required
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to utilize other technology resources is required
- Excellent business partnering, communication skills, strong influencing, and collaboration skills across sectors, functions, and regions is required
- Ability to execute innovative solutions to meet business needs and to handle risk in a quickly changing external environment is required

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Fluency in English preferred
