**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the preparation of national, local, and other miscellaneous direct tax returns including Excise, Business License, and other municipal returns
- Providing the support for tax reconciliations
- Assisting with maintaining and enhancing local tax processes
- Assisting with maintaining tax calendar and tracking of tax inquiries
- Providing support for other corporate tax projects and processes as needed
- Performing ongoing review and research of tax laws, court decisions, and administrative pronouncements to ensure the company's compliance and find opportunities for tax savings
- Assisting with special projects to implement tax strategies and/or documents and supporting current tax position
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned and ad hoc

**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a preference in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or any related business is required
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in finance/accounting or related business
- Strong financial analytical abilities (data, fact patterns, external tax/legal frameworks) and accounting are required
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to utilize other technology resources
- Strong knowledge of ERP and Tax Software systems (Synchro)
- Strong business partnering and communication skills with strong influencing and collaboration skills across sectors, functions, and regions
- Ability to execute innovative solutions to meet business needs and to handle risk in a quickly changing external environment

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Fluency in English
