**Job Profile / Activities**:

- The Senior Finance Analyst within Distribution Services is expected to provide technical expertise and guidance to peers as well as recommendations to supervisor on finance issues.
- The incumbent will lead projects to conclusion by compiling information, analyzing data, recommending and implementing solutions and will provide information and analysis used to make and/or influence business decisions. Typically, projects and decisions will impact medium to high-risk issues.
- Finance responsibilities are of high complexity including conducting financing alternatives analysis - both corporate and dealer, analyzing financial statements, managing cash assets and bank accounts, executing currency hedging analysis and trades, conducting business risk management, and supporting trade finance.
- The incumbent is capable of handling broader business issues such as delivering presentations to business unit and corporate leadership teams, working with cross-functional disciplines to solve business problems, and using business acumen to support a broad range of activities.
- Incumbent will interface with Caterpillar employees from many disciplines, customers and suppliers throughout the world.
- The Senior Finance Analyst within Distribution Services demonstrates very good communication skills and has a comprehensive knowledge of their business unit, suppliers and customers.

**Basic Qualifications**

**Education**:Bachelor degree in finance, business administration or accounting

**Experience**:Minimum 3 years of finance experience, project management skills

**Language**:Pr e advanced Englis h

**Travel**:10-20% of working time

**Behavioral **skills**:I nitiative, leadership, judgment and decision-making skills, ability to work effectively and independently with people at all levels within and outside the department, team leadership, human interaction, and communications skills

**Desirable **Qualifications**

Spanish

K nowledge of company policies, practices and systems.
