Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has the commitment to help close the existing global digital skills gap and train professionals to fill current and future cloud-enabled job opportunities. In order to do this, we are proactively creating mechanisms for massive training to propel Latin America (Latam) to the cloud and have a cloud-ready workforce. We are hiring a Branding & Communications Manager, Latam to amplify our impact, deploy massive training initiatives, and help AWS become a trusted advisor and reference for cloud training in the region.

The Branding & Communications Manager, Latam will report into the Head of Enterprise Enablement for Latin America and work closely with Commercial & Public sectors leaders, including: Country and Account Managers, AWS Training & Certification (Managers & Marketing), AWS Education to Workforce, Educational Programs (AWS GetIT, AWS re/Start), and PR teams to meet customers and market training demands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Draft content for internal and external communications not limited to: blogs, reports, scripts, PR releases, case studies
- Partner with AWS Marketing teams to ensure branding consistency with global practices and to influence development and optimization of global campaigns based on local priorities
- Ensure compliance and manage relationships with marketing agencies and third-party vendors
- Create and maintain a calendar of massive training regional activities
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to author/publish case and reference studies related to massive training
- Track progress, via metrics, goals and KPIs to measure success of initiatives and campaigns
- Participate in business reviews, provide monthly, quarterly and ongoing updates

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in communications, digital marketing, brand management, PR or product management
- 5+ years program management experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- 5+ years collaborating in cross-functional, multinational, and high-performing teams
- Proficiency in English and Spanish

- Proven track record of defining and delivering innovative campaigns that drive long-term results
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership and driving results
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to various technical, business stakeholder, and leadership audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across functional teams
- Ability to operate independently and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
