10+ years of security operations or security advisory work with demonstrated track record for innovation and delivering results at scale.
- 5+ years of experience with Data privacy and data protections
- 2+ years of Project Management experience managing enterprise-level projects and continuous improvement programs.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities, attacker exploit techniques, and methods for their remediation.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English

The AWS Solutions Architecture team seeks to improve the security of how AWS Solutions Architects (SAs) and Software Developers (SDEs) deliver to customers worldwide. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to think big and insist on highest standards as you influence others to evolve the way that AWS interacts with our customers.

As a security leader on the team, you will be expected to own day-to-day operational security practices both technical and programmatic. Technical leadership includes deliverable security reviews, build and deploy new technology and capability, and influencing Service Team roadmaps. Programmatic leadership includes building and executing project plans, stakeholder management, proactively identify and manage delivery risks, resolve issues, escalate when appropriate - all to drive successful customer outcomes.

You should be a technical security professional showing strong bias for action and deep ownership over organization-spanning programs. Someone who is comfortable leading the charge to reduce ambiguity and earn trust while taking solutions architecture team members on a journey from securing their working environments through scalable security tools, best practices in customer workloads, and security deliverable standards

Key job responsibilities
- Provide industry, and national relevant governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and security guidance to executive audiences.
- Collaborate across AWS to develop innovative strategies, messaging, and solutions that serve to solve industry-wide obstacles to cloud adoption.
- Create, and implement plans that have clear, measurable success criteria. Clearly communicate progress, and outcomes at the C-Suite to include VP level.
- Build, and operate closed loop mechanisms to demonstrate achievement of customer desired governance, risk, and compliance outcomes on customer-facing engagements.
- Facilitate and/or personally conduct engagement, and deliverable security, risk, and compliance reviews.
- Work directly with our customers, partners, and team members to integrate, invent and improve our security, risk, and compliance solutions.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, within team, external groups, and customers in both English, and Portuguese.
- Develop high-quality security, risk, and compliance content such as webinar artifacts, presentations, and white papers to help our peers, partners, and customers strategize, and build securely within the AWS cloud.
