**Job Description**:

- As an Application Engineering (AE) intern for Custom IC and Simulation team, you will work with tools covering the entire Analog Design flow, passing through schematic, simulation, physical implementation, verification and extraction/sign-off.
- On a daily basis you will interact with industry leading semiconductor and system companies empowering the development of analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal circuits.
- You will work with the North America based AE and sales teams to provide technical support in the Pre and Post-Sales process. You will be required to come up with innovative solutions to address our customer’s most challenging problems.

Key responsibilities in this position are to:

- Establish technical credibility and rapport with customers.
- Be trained to provide support, training, and resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with R&D to learn and deploy new flows to customers.

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in BSc program in of Electrical, Computer Engineering or related area
- Knowledge of electronic circuit simulation
- Advanced English written and oral communication skills

Nice to have skills:

- Previous experience with analog design flow
- Knowledge of EDA tools and Cadence Virtuoso
- Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Perl, Tcl, Bash, Csh.
- Knowledge of analog layout

- Internship term: 20 hours/week
- Location: R. Desembargador Jorge Fontana, 50, 7o floor, Belvedere - Belo Horizonte
