**About the role**:
We’re looking for an experienced and driven **Risk Team Lead** to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our risk operations. In this role, you’ll lead a talented team focused on identifying and mitigating risks, preventing fraud, and driving data-informed strategies that protect our users and business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Team Coordination**: Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the risk team, including scheduling, coverage, task management, and performance tracking.
- ** KPI Management**: Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators and continuously optimize processes for maximum efficiency and impact.
- ** Risk Analysis**: Conduct detailed analyses of risk trends, identify patterns, and develop actionable plans to mitigate potential issues.
- ** Fraud Prevention**: Design, implement, and monitor fraud prevention and resolution strategies tailored to subscription-based systems.
- ** Cross-functional Collaboration**: Partner with the data team to evaluate fraud-reduction initiatives and quantify their business impact.
- ** Innovation**: Research, propose, and implement new risk mitigation strategies in line with industry standards and company goals.
- ** Reporting & Analytics**: Use SQL and other analytical tools to generate reports, monitor performance, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a risk-related role within high-risk domains such as subscription services, gaming, fintech, or similar industries.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing fraud prevention programs.
- Strong command of SQL, with the ability to create and manage data reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Solid understanding of subscription-based business models and common fraud patterns.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and coordination.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with fraud detection tools and machine learning solutions.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to risk and fraud.
- Previous exposure to chargeback management and customer dispute resolution.
