**Mechanical Engineer (Test)**

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in use of engineering tools (ex: GD&T, CAD, Design for Manufacturability, Material Selection)
- Oversee/ Experience in carrying out P&T tests (pressure and temperature) on oil and gas tools following procedures
- Be able to understand the critical load paths.
- Be able to provide Test Facility capacity, parts inventory list, suggested cost saving Test Fixture design method in compliance with Standard for Technology Test Equipment and Fixtures.
- Experience with assembly of tubular components, sealing areas, torque and assembly of premium and standard connections, inspection and safe handling of loads.
- Desirable experience in assembly of electromechanical components, such as motors, ball screw, clutches, electronic components.
- Proactivity and leadership and focus on the safety of operations, facilities and behavior.
- Organization and zeal. Focus on organization and 5S.
- Dedication and punctuality.
- Availability to travel 20 to 40% of the time on national and international trips.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal in Portuguese and English.

**Responsabilities**
- Perform test fixture analysis: Tension/ Compression Ram and Product Ratings and Safety factors.
- Design and release test fixtures.
- Design and release test check layouts.
- Develop test procedures.
- Coordinate test fixture assembly.
- Coordinate the test (scouts facilities, work to make sure all requirements are good, resources, etc).
- Coordinate disassembly and posttest inspection
- Generate test report.
- Perform calculations, iron management, test monitoring.
- Inventory and review remaining test parts.
