On October 19, Pismo announced its Series B funding round (US$ 108 million).
The round was led by SoftBank, Amazon, and Accel, with B3, Falabella Ventures, PruVen, along with existing investors Headline and Redpoint eventures.
**What you'll do**:
- Oversee Pismo’s employee resource groups (with great help). This includes having regular meetings with ERG leads and also joining a couple of group meetings to set the pace and align goals.
- Coordinate the DE&I calendar and special initiatives. This includes coordinating events, co-creating initiatives and making alignments with stakeholders.
- Responsible for Pismo’s DE&I internal page and general communication. This includes creating communication pieces such as calls to action to events, producing informational content about specific DE&I dates and general cross-company alignments via Slack and DE&I internal page.
- Co-responsible for the ‘DE&I explains’ (an initiative to raise awareness about DE&I among employees). This includes doing research for the topics, validating information with ERGs and stakeholders, creating campaigns and producing DE&I content.
- Identify training needs and facilitate some basic trainings and workshops to employees (e.g. Onboarding sessions, Unconscious Bias training and etc)
- Co-responsible for bringing the DE&I perspective to the People team. This includes acting as an internal consultant in business/people decisions and frequently studying different DE&I topics to make science-backed recommendations (don’t worry, we’ll provide studying time).
**What we expect from you**:
- Some relevant experience with Employee Resource Groups (Affinity Groups) as an active member, leader or DE&I practitioner.
- Demonstrated previous experience with HR projects and events, preferably internal remote events.
- Background in a fast-paced tech work environment.
- Strong training/workshop facilitation skills.
- Intermediate English skills (familiarity with business terms).
- A deep and genuine interest in all things DE&I-related and a passion to make the world a better place.
