Onfleet is seeking a technical Senior Quality Assurance Manager who will support and coach a team of QA engineers, QA analysts, and SDETs as they collaborate with our product, design, UX, and engineering teams to build high quality, resilient, performant, and maintainable systems. Our mobile apps, dashboard, and APIs power operational control of business-critical deliveries for all our customers, so this manager will have many opportunities to contribute to our shared success.

**What You'll Do**:

- Within the first two weeks: You will understand the team's context, their common collaborators, current QA processes, and our product.
- In the first month: You will develop rapport with your team members (5) by building psychological safety and working to identify and resolve systemic obstacles to high-quality work.
- In the second month: You will help your team make good decisions by facilitating technical discussions and cultivating an atmosphere of continuous learning, improvement and collaboration with the product and broader engineering organizations.
- By the sixth month: You will have engaged with and initiated projects that improve QA efficiency and testing quality of life by reducing technical debt and encouraging automation best practices.
- Possible project focus areas are: Implementation of a CI/CD pipeline, expansion of automatic test coverage across all products, and implementation of a new strategic vision for the critical role of QA.

**What You'll Bring**:

- At least five years of hands-on experience with API, web and mobile QA automation tools and best practices, including CI/CD.
- At least one year of experience managing QA individual contributors in a hands-off, coaching role.
- Sound judgment, relevant data, and an open mind to help you and the team navigate together when the way forward isn't clear.
- Empathy for our user's experience and a sense of craftsmanship to help guide our product, engineering, and quality focus.

**Nice To Have**:

- Familiarity with modern project management and QA automation management approaches and tools.
- Curiosity about our full stack so you can give great advice about scope and testing implementation tradeoffs.
- Experience in balancing incremental codebase and tooling improvements with the ongoing development of new features.
