We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented **Data Analyst** with proven expertise in **Power BI** and **Snowflake** to join our data team. This role will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

**Summary of Primary Responsibilities**:
While not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, the Data Analyst role will:

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using **Power BI**.
- Write complex **SQL queries**to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Work with **Snowflake**to manage and optimize cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business initiatives.
- Document data processes, definitions, and workflows for internal use.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data requests from stakeholders.

**Education and Experience**:

- Five years + of experience in data analyst position, with a proven track record of working with industry leading vendors and technologies.
- Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in **Power BI**for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Strong command of **SQL**for data querying and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with **Snowflake**or other cloud data platforms.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

**Compensation**

This position is a contract remote position with an hourly rate depending upon experience
