Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Data Analyst
with proven expertise in
Power BI
and
Snowflake
to join our data team. This role will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
While not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, the Data Analyst role will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Work with Snowflake to manage and optimize cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business initiatives.
  • Document data processes, definitions, and workflows for internal use.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and data requests from stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Five years + of experience in data analyst position, with a proven track record of working with industry leading vendors and technologies.
  • Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Strong command of SQL for data querying and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation
This position is a contract remote position with an hourly rate depending upon experience
