Fx Reconciliation and Controls Senior Analyst

The FX Controls analyst will be responsible for performing the controls and reconciliations related to the Markets FX area to guarantee that all the processes are being executed accordingly to the local and global policies. The analyst will also have to work closely with teammates and different areas of the organization to ensure that all the steps and personas are being considered in the review to bridge the gaps between business, technology and operational processes (implemented through systems, people and their functions). **Responsibilities**: - Perform internal controls (Quality Assurance, MCA, Global Policies) - Execute the daily reconciliations of the FX area (Central Bank Position, Subsidiaries and local account reconciliations, Product Processor vs Front end, etc) - Support both internal and external audits and other requests - Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement - Create business architecture models and provide a comprehensive understanding of the overall business flow. - Design and analyze complex reports to support/control activities and make recommendations based on identified trends and facts - Interpret data and recommend the launch of new products/ services or upgraded platforms that support the FX area as a whole - Monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance Support senior management to drive the strategy execution through designing new business models and support change management - Minimize bank risk, and provide solutions to reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies - Manage, escalate and resolve all requests / inquiries / issues / errors and identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes - Provide informal guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members**Qualifications**: - 3-5 years of experience in a related role - Relevant Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills - Sharp business focus, demonstrating innovative approaches - Highly developed Collaboration / Partnering skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication - Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills - Fluent in English **Education**: - Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience Knowledge of Foreign Exchange(FX) Products - Knowledge of bank accounting - Fluent English language written and verbal - Flexibility and organization to work with tight dead lines - Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative to identify potential risks and areas of opportunity - Result Oriented - High level of accuracy and attention to detail while demonstrating excellent communication skills - Excellent team working - Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive - Higher education(Bachelor´s degree), MBA /Pos is a plus - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Transaction Services - **Job Family**: Transaction Capture Services - **Time Type**: Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
