Manager, Deployment Engineering

- drive design for deployment concepts into product & software design.
- implement business process change & system enhancements in how we capture & manage desired customer SW configurations and terminal/merchant onboarding data.
- enhance existing solutions that communicate with our devices to load device SW configurations.
- leverage existing solutions that enable OTA configuration and management of SW of our devices in the field.

**Your Essential Responsibilities**:

- Technical Lead/Architect for all Latin America specific deployment programming, repair center, and field services tools. Work closely with technical leads/architects of Global deployment/onboarding automation tools and security key distribution systems to adapt and enhance these solutions for use in Latin America and across all regions.
- Lead recurring meetings with our chief security architect and his team to develop cloud-based distribution systems for our terminal cryptographic keys and to ensure that our automated deployment solutions comply with all PCI security standards.
- Drive a ‘Design for Frictionless Deployment’ methodology into the product development (software & hardware) and deployment process. There are significant opportunities to reduce operational cost, improve delivered quality, increase deployment output, and make it easier & more efficient to deploy our terminals in mass production and at our customers.
- Work with local sales team and product to have the priorities and volumes forecast/new products to adapt local solutions and scale them correctly to avoid downtimes.

**Your knowledge & Experience**:

- 8+ years of engineering experience (SW, HW, Test, Automation) working on terminals/devices, System integrations, SOAP, SOA, REST and WEB APIs
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft.net, Android and SQL Server
- 2+ years of team leadership/management experience: performance reviews, merit/promotion planning, performance improvement plans, staff meetings, 1 on 1 communication
- English and Portuguese language skills, Spanish language skills a significant plus
- Prior experience with device deployment/provisioning, team management, software architecture, and Payment industry a significant plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience in developing & documenting complex work instructions & procedures
- PCI, Key Injection, expertise in using encryption keys 3DES, DUKPT, RSA and KTK
- Outstanding communication skills regarding technical topics
- Highly collaborative with proven ability to work with cross-functional teams as well as external customers
- May require some travel domestically and internationally
- Programming and Ops Skills: Microsoft.NET Core, MCV, JavaScript, Java and C++ Agile and DevOps Toolsets:

- Expertise with Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience with version control system usage (Artifactory; Git; SVN).
- Experience with Test Automation Tools such as Ruby, Server Spec
- SQL Server - Stored Procedures, Jobs, performance improvements and tuning
