**About the role - you will**:
We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual with energy, passion, and initiative in capturing new business across Seagate Enterprise and Systems in our Latin America Distribution Channel. You thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization where you can make a meaningful impact. Highly organized with the ability to formulate new sales engagement processes and strategies within distribution and their partners across assigned accounts or verticals, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
- Lead the Enterprise Systems Strategy for the region
- Navigate distribution and articulate the Seagate value proposition - building relationships with executive sales management.
- Proactively prospect, identify, and qualify potential customer leads and opportunities.
- Build targeted account plans across assigned accounts and verticals
- Develop a forward looking sales opportunity pipeline
- Achieve and or exceed Quarterly and Annual quota requirements
- Develop and deliver proposals that clearly address the customer’s business, technical, TCO/ROI requirements
- Engage across Seagate sales teams and functional areas as an internal partner
- Work with and build long-term relationships with trusted Seagate partners (Distributors, VARs, and MSPs)
- Attend and participate in QBR’s and various product and sales trainings
- Travel up to 30% Post Covid
**About you**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with field sales experience in a fast-paced competitive market with a consistent track record of success and quota achievement
- Experience working within distribution partner environments and their sales structures, programs, and incentive drivers
- Experienced in working together with channel sales teams (Disti, VAR, SI++).
- Proven success in growing the sales of complex solutions through channel partners in both SMB and large enterprises.
- Comfortable presenting to different audiences; customers and business/partner executives
- Experience selling with a consultative, solution-based approach
- Strong Demand Generation skills with the ability and passion for closing new business
- Skilled at uncovering customer challenges, requirements and needs
- Individual thrives in a highly competitive, fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to establish credibility and forge solid/positive professional relationships with peers and upper management. Collaboration and cultural fit critical
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of management
- Proficient with SFDC, LinkedIn, Navigator, Microsoft Office and other sales tools
