**Job Description**:
**Product Director - Prepaid**
Prepaid business in Brazil is growing really fast and it is a very important, strategic and financial inclusion solution.
The Prepaid Director will be responsible for managing all portfolio and services targeted to. Products can vary by its payment functionality - prepaid credit or prepaid debit - and by its segment (e.g. Consumer, Business and Corporate), according to the target consumer.
Local Team manages a close relationship with Regional and Global product teams, with all internal areas such as business development, marketing, finance, legal, compliance and strategy, and with all issuing banks, acquirers and strategic partners in the electronic payments industry.
This role requires embracing end-to-end ownership of the assigned Visa portfolio identifying market opportunities and requirements, contributing to the development and execution of Visa’s products growth in Brazil, as well as management of the product strategy.
This role will require the following tasks to be performed on a daily basis:
1. Identifying opportunities:
- Prospecting potential new partners, analysis of opportunities, and understanding of market gaps.
- Conduct product adaptations to local needs defining end-to-end solutions.
- Pricing analysis and product Risk Assessment.
- Work close to regulators when approval of new products and services is required that allow us to operate in a complex environment.
2. Sales Support
- Work with Sales Teams and Issuers directly, to identify best acquisition strategy and sales channels available for product adoption.
- Identify and develop best practices to be shared with clients and other Visa offices.
- Lead product implementations within clients and partners.
3. Product Management
- Product Development and continuous enhancements in order to keep product up to date and according to Client’s needs: new, innovative, with high service levels, fully digital, mobile and value add strategies that meet the needs of today’s global consumers and businesses.
- Identify emerging segments and trends focused on electronification of payments.
- Ownership of Prepaid Programs approval process.
- Maintain product strategy, product revenue, market adoption, and tactical plans to each of key issuers, seeking best in class performance.
- Provide product MIS reports to Senior Management.
- Maintain / expand relationship with local partners, seeking business opportunities and strategic alliances for Visa and clients.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
**Qualifications**:
Skills - Professional/Technical/Business
- Develop and maintain cross functional relationships with all Visa teams.
- Experience in Payment/Financial Services industry experience.
- Education: Bachelor Degree
- Language knowledge required: Fluent English and (Spanish is desired).
- Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions, manage uncertainty.
- Strong written and in-person communication skills, including ability to develop business requirements, stakeholder documents, and other key communications.
- Experience in digital services/products development, implementation and management
- Project management skill, considering agile methodologies mostly used on digital environments
- Ability to manage and work well within complex, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
