To foster this environment, we are seeking a highly experienced **Head Educator** to join our Early Years Division. As a leader in teaching, this role will implement exceptional instructional practices, inspire learners, and mentor learning assistants and monitors to drive continuous improvement and student success.

**Position Summary**:
The **Head Educator** for Early Years will serve as an exemplary classroom teacher and learning facilitator, ensuring learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will guide developmentally appropriate, student-centered learning experiences while supporting and mentoring learning assistant and monitors to promote best practices across the Early Years Division.

**Responsabilidades e atribuições** Key Responsibilities**:
**Teaching Excellence & Student Learning**:

- Deliver exceptional teaching that aligns with Escola Concept’s educational philosophy, emphasizing inquiry, play-based learning, and student ownership.
- Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that foster curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking.
- Promote student responsibility for their learning and behavior, empowering them to take ownership of their progress and growth.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning, identify areas for improvement, and inform instructional decisions.
- Collect data in order to create meaningful learning documentation;
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and ensure the holistic development of each child.

**Mentoring & Educator Collaboration**:

- Serve as a model of teaching excellence for Early Years educators by demonstrating best practices in classroom instruction and learning environments.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching to fellow educators, fostering collaboration, reflection, and professional growth.
- Support educators in implementing strategies that align with Escola Concept’s approaches, including Reggio Emilia, CLIL, and Psychogenesis methodologies.
- Facilitate opportunities for educators to reflect on student data, share effective practices, and work collaboratively to improve learning outcomes.

**Community Engagement & Communication**:

- Build meaningful relationships with learners, families, and colleagues, creating a strong sense of trust and partnership.
- Communicate effectively with families, sharing student progress, goals, and successes in a clear, empathetic, and collaborative manner.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school community that celebrates each child’s individuality and achievements.

**Continuous Professional Development**:

- Actively engage in professional learning and stay current with evidence-based practices, trends, and innovations in Early Years education.
- Share new ideas, strategies, and research with colleagues to ensure Escola Concept remains a leader in innovative and effective education.
- Reflect on teaching practices to promote continuous growth and improvement in student outcomes.

**Requisitos e qualificações** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy or related fields (required).
- Additional certifications in early childhood education, curriculum development, or instructional leadership (preferred).

**Language**:

- English proficiency at C1 level (desired C2).

**Experience**:

- Demonstrated excellence in teaching with at least **2 years of experience** in Early Years education.
- Proven ability to improve student learning outcomes and inspire a love for learning.
- Experience mentoring or collaborating with educators to enhance teaching practices.

**Skills**:

- Exceptional teaching abilities with a strong understanding of child development and play-based learning principles.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to guide learners, assistants and monitors effectively.
