**Role expectations**:
**People Management Responsibilities**:
- Support people's development by creating a career plan with them, providing guidance on filling their skill gaps, helping them find growth opportunities, and constantly following up on their evolution.
- Align the team with the company’s needs and vision.
- Manage people's performance and collect information for the performance review cycles.
- Meet regularly 1:1 with team members (ideally once a week).
- Provide constant feedback to ensure their continuous learning.
- Coach team members, both regarding technical and soft skills.
- Create a safe environment for team members to feel heard and comfortable sharing their thoughts, challenge ideas, and be themselves, acting as a genuinely inclusive leader.
- Represent ArcTouch's Culture through the Leadership Principles, being an ambassador of AT's cultural values within the team, and guiding members when they don't act based on them.
- Collaborate with the Head of the Department, ensuring the team's capabilities match the business needs.
- Work with the Head of the Department in hiring, providing inputs and information to drive and improve our recruitment process.
- Be responsible for technical and executive interviews, engaging and training the team to interview people, ensuring we have enough availability and skills to run the process at the needed velocity, and avoiding bottlenecks that may slow it down.
- Work with other managers to identify, assess, and implement emerging technology trends and best practices.
**General Responsibilities**:
- Be current on the latest technologies and trends for the Web, including new Frontend frameworks, Backend capabilities and tools, and Cloud platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team members, jumping on technical discussions and helping remove blockers and gaps in the team’s knowledge.
- Regularly meet with internal project stakeholders to evaluate and improve the team's value delivery.
- Identify and fill knowledge gaps within the project teams, ensuring they’re adequately staffed.
