Water Services and Technologies has a highly specialized team motivated to offer practical and economical solutions involving groundwater and surface water, hydrogeochemistry, hydrogeotechnics, technology and environmental data management. In this position you will be responsible for leading the technical Technology team, seeking the best data architecture solutions and ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of the area. Must interact and bring together multifunctional teams focused on meeting the needs of Water Services and Technologies.
**Responsibilities**:
**Lead Development Efforts**: Oversee the development of our SaaS platform, ensuring high-quality code and scalable architecture.
**Team Leadership**: Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
**Architectural Design**: Design and architect the overall system structure, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and secure.
**Technical Expertise**: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, integrating them into the development process where appropriate.
**Project Management**: Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute development sprints, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
**Code Review and Quality Assurance**: Conduct regular code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure comprehensive testing of the platform.
**Stakeholder Communication**: Liaise with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
**Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to the platform.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a team lead or senior developer role, with excellent team management skills.
Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable and secure systems.Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong backend development skills with Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Portuguese and English - written and verbal
**Desirable Other Qualifications**:
**Advanced Technologies**: Knowledge of AI/ML, data analytics, and big data technologies.
**Agile Methodologies**: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
