**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
The Center of Excellence Expert performs business development activities for SAP BTP solutions in an End-to-End approach covering Analytics, Integration and Data Management scenarios. The BTP Center of Excellence builds pipeline strategies and scales initiatives resulting in increased sales pipeline & revenue and the elevation of SAP’s leadership position for both Software and Cloud environments across industry and customer segments. The CoE understands SAP’s competitive advantage for BTP s olutions and positions SAP as preferred partner towards customers and prospects. The CoE is a recognized trusted advisor to customers and SAP stakeholders on BTP matters and their impact to business.
**EXPECTATIONS**
Area 1: Identification and execution of targeted business development activities; act as a senior advisor in SAP’s BTP solutions to drive incremental business. As key activity, this professional should create qualified pipeline and engage in key/strategic sales opportunities understanding customers’ business pain points and articulating the value proposition of BTP Solutions.
Area 2: Execute Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for BTP; contribute to high-quality business plans articulating solution strategy, GTM activities and key execution milestones. This could include areas such as enablement, customer targeting and engagement, strategic partnerships, etc.
Area 3: Align with P&T Global Partner organization, and regional Partner leads, in support of comprehensive strategies that engage & enable partners for the positioning of BTP solutions in the market
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Solution Expertise: Strong experience in **implementing BTP projects** in different industries as “hands-on” consultant (SAP and/or other BTP players). Experience in Innovation areas like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain desired.
- Business Expertise: Strong experience in **linking BTP solutions to business outcomes** - capacity to demonstrate the value proposition (financial & strategic benefits) of BTP solutions towards customers across several industries. Capable to position an End-to-End Corporate BTP Solution to Business C-level Executives
- Business Development/Sales Expertise: Proven experience in **Business Development/Presales/Sales activities**. Proven track record of success delivering tangible results in developing new BTP business opportunities. **Customer facing** **experience **with consultative capabilities to engage with customers from IT & Business areas, understand pain points and diagnose solution. Experience in interacting with C-level Executives. Expertise in engaging with a sales organization to drive pipeline build initiatives
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree desired from accredited university preferred
- Fluency in English (Spanish desired
