The LATAM Chief Data Officer team is a new function in Citi as part of its Data Transformation Strategy, responsible for drives data governance for the region’s data and the adoption of consistent standards and capabilities. This role will report directly to the Latam Data Management Head. Latam Data Quality Manager will be responsible for driving implementation of the data quality strategy and adopting consistent metrics and reporting across businesses, functions, and geographies in Latin America in coordination with the Enterprise CDO (ECDO) Data Quality Program. **Key Responsibilities**: - Implement and adopt the overall data quality strategy for Latin America, in line with the ECDO strategy, to advance regional practices related to identification of business needs, reactive/proactive and preventive data quality (i.e., identify/log/resolve issues promptly following/before/prevent their impact). - Help formulate business cases to support investment in data quality management and socialize with key stakeholders. - Coordinate, manage and drive data quality related projects including identifying business requirements, establishing priorities, tracking projects to completion, and evaluating results. - Adopt data quality frameworks and standards as defined by the ECDO; implement policies and procedures to ensure data quality practices are syndicated effectively within the region (e.g., data prioritization, data requirements and rules, data contracts). - Working with the Latam Data Management Head, develop and lead an appropriate regional data quality governance forum and represent Latin America in ECDO governance forums to drive consensus, and conflict resolution including agreement on data quality ownership conflicts within Latin America. - Monitor and report on data quality within Latin America (e.g., define/ gather metrics, developing dashboards, deploying tools) as per the standards defined by the ECDO. - Oversee the data quality issue/defect management process within Latin America and adopt and maintain a repository for monitoring and tracking data quality issues, including subsuming all legacy processes into the future state process. - Partner with ECDO and Technology to drive implementation and adoption of tools necessary to build and run effective data quality tools and processes. - Prioritize and drive the integration and adoption of all necessary tools and processes for an effective data quality strategy. **Qualifications**: - 9+ years of finance and overall business management experience in a complex, financial organization, with particular focus on data quality. - Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong technology skills. - Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment. - Proven ability to lead across a large, global financial firm. - Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines. - Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels. - Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills. - Bachelor’s degree required. - Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Data Quality - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
