**As a Head of Creative you will**:
- Supervise, coach, mentor, motivate and support the development of our Designers and ensure the team receives regular feedback and one-on-one meetings;
- Lead the R&D initiatives to keep Kokku up to date on any technology/software/trend with our creative team while being responsible for the strategic growth of the creative department, aligned to the company’s short-, medium
- and long-term strategic planning, presenting reports with varied metrics, among them: growth-oriented, profitability etc.;
- Work closely with the recruiting team to find the best people;
- Assist Account Management team to seek new projects based on team availability and attend meetings;
- Manage performance within the team by encouraging autonomy, mastery and purpose;
- Develop custom pipelines for projects with specific creative and technology needs in collaboration with engineering and art departments;
- Attend daily production meetings to ensure design is on track and collaborate with production to ensure schedules and plans meet business and project needs;
- Work closely with Heads of other departments to ensure the right professionals are part of the right projects;
- Be responsible for the RFP process (delegate, track and review) with the most appropriate Design Leads;
- Be an example of reliability, accountability and professionalism in all working relationships.
**We expect you to have**:
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Demonstrated leadership fundamentals and proven experience in a design leadership role;
- Proven experience with a variety of game genres and robust experience with different specialties and design styles;
- Experience leading teams, understanding of the principles of people management and how to lead a team to high performance;
- Up-to-date knowledge of game design and understanding of the industry;
- Experience with Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, Invision, or other design software;
- Proven experience in design, media, and/or related entertainment industry;
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills;
- Fluent English.
